The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) will host the maiden India edition of the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) in Hyderabad from September 10 to 13. The event is happening outside of the US for the first time. 

“The three-day event will have innovators, academic experts, industry leaders, and policy makers as speakers,” an ASME statement said here on Wednesday.

The conference would focus on topics such as advancing research through the creation of robust and enabling architectures for rapid technology development, as well as exploring new energy sources with a special emphasis on green hydrogen and clean energy infrastructure.

“The sessions will also cover industry-oriented curriculum reforms, integration of AI and machine learning, interdisciplinary and project-based learning,” Madhukar Sharma, President and Director of ASME India Private Limited, said.
