Corona Remedies has acquired seven pharmaceutical brands from Bayer India, including Noklot (cardiology) and six women’s healthcare products like Vageston and Ovidac. 

Corona Remedies has acquired seven brands from the pharmaceutical division of Bayer in India, for an undisclosed sum. They include Noklot, a cardiology drug, and Fostine, Luprofact, Menodac, Ovidac, Spye, and Vageston, in women’s healthcare.

This strengthens Corona Remedies’ position in these segments in the domestic market. Integrating these brands also marks Corona’s entry into the anti-platelet market, valued at ₹1,507 crore, the company said. Furthermore, it strengthens Corona’s portfolio in women’s healthcare with its presence in the gonadotrophin and progesterone hormone market, pegged at Rs 1862 crore, according to industry estimates. This is primarily utilised for infertility treatment and pregnancy management, the company said.
